On BH59 yesterday some were wanting to know when the hf was going to go off. A countdown was provided in squad chat. It seems people need to synchronize with this?
Later, a couple of high levels were helping me with Silver Frost where hf timing seemed to be an issue:
BM: I got hf ready
Arch: Dont lol
Arch: Ill blood vow first
Arch: Then hf away
Does the cleric need to be aware of hf?
Thx

HF = a bm skill called Heaven's Flame, which amplify's the damage a boss takes by 100% at level ten. People coordinate it because it's kind of super awesome to triple spark right before HF goes on and drool at your damage output. This shouldn't really concern a cleric unless they're DDing, although it is possible for aggro to change during this if there's a pretty good DD in squad with a high crit rate.
Evict is a sexy chalupa. <3
retired, etc

FYI, you can find abbreviations like this in the Abbreviations and Terms section of the PWI wiki.
Also, if you want to help a bit as a cleric and have time, toss in a Dimensional Seal with the HF to reduce the target's PDef by up to 40%, so they'll do even more damage.

Visit the PWI wiki for the useful information. Stay at the PWI wiki for the pie. ;-)

Heh.
Yes, heavens flame is such an incredibly short debuff that it's nice to know when it's coming in so that you get some nice spell doubled, rather than a crappy one.
As cleric - if you are chainhealing and only just able to keep the tank alive, then you don't really need to know.
If you have time to throw any attacks, then it may be worth holding off and throwing your attack at the right time.
Your debuffs are indeed nice, but as usual, be aware of whether the barb is using his better one (or a venomancer, for that matter, if they are using myriad or demon ironwood)

As a sin, I like to know when a BM is going to HF, because I can stack Subsea Strike onto it, making epic damage increases for the casters/other DDs....who can also time ultis with it for more WIN
sometimes I can even get a good hit in myself, if i time it right. As a cleric....it's probably not really important, since it doesn't affect your heals. If you find yourself with time to cast a few attacks of your own, however, timing it with HF will make them more effective.

A level 10 Subsea Strike is a 30% amp, whereas Extreme Poison is only 20%. And it's not as if assassins are ever short on chi.
