get a non fail cleric with BB and mp charm/ event pot.
genie skill lightning chaser can help with cancelling if you are too poor to get alacrity lvled.

"non fail cleric", lmao, so true.... not lvld IH ? wth...

All you need is a cleric with bb and maxed out IH, a second one in your case (lvl 4 ala).

If a barb in my fac isn't quite up to it or i'm unsure, i give him a couple of multiflavors, they usually do the trick.

we just did it tonight with all low level 6x. Two clerics, me, archer, wizard. I've got alacrity 8 so I kept him canceled most of the time. I actually tanked it without BKI so my HP was only around 5800. I did have an HP charm on that ticked a couple times at the end. One of the clerics was pure arcane so his HP was in the low 1k range, the BB cleric was around 2k. Everyone lived until his aoe got stronger at the end when the pure arcane cleric and pure arcane wizard dropped dead. Me, the BB cleric, and the archer lived through it all. As I said, I kept his metal attack canceled most of the time, only missed twice because I was using frighten too late in my rotation of skills and it didn't cool down in time. When he hit me with that it was about 1500 - 1800 damage. We kept blue bubble up the entire fight just in case. I've seen some barbs get one shot from full health by drummer boy if Blue Bubble isn't up. Still, her BB gives 50% damage redux so I'm assuming without - it would be 3600 damage. Not enough to one shot me. But enough to make me sweat.

What kind of gear do you wear? Basic NPC gear - or 2/3 star or better? I'd recommend wearing also some elemental ornaments if you haven't any yet. They can make a significant difference if you miss or miss time with alacrity.

Should be able to do at your lvl pretty easy if you have 2 clerics and maybe get BM buffs for extra def. Than 1 cleric use blue bubble so party don't die from aoe + second cleric heals you + take some event pot/use Tree of protection if Hp goes low.

and have your veno not waste sparks on their spark skills, but rather keep feeding you spark whenever their lending hand cools down. Try to stay with 2 sparks at all times so you can invoke the spirit if need be. If you've got solid shield on your genie, use that when invoke is on cool down/not enough spark.

of course, I didn't even need either of those myself. I stayed topped off on health basically the entire fight until the non-BB cleric bit the bucket. That's where my charm ticked a couple times right at the end. But to be perfectly honest with you, I went with a 7x cleric who solo Iron hearted me for the first half, and did BB for the second half. Like was mentioned before.. get a no fail cleric. Thats the most important thing.

OR.. do like we did tonight and get a 6x herc veno + 1 more. Let the herc tank and you just cancel a few metal attacks till AoE starts. Then jump to humanoid form and whack away. Once AoE starts, metal attack stops. Try as I might - I can't cancel the AoE, I don't think it can be done on drummer boy. So at that point i stop trying to time stuff and just click all my skills whenever they cool down.

Carry chi pots. BMs and Barbs chew through sparks like no tomorrow. Only class I ever use Lending Hand on without being asked is a cleric who's putting up BB. If you're any other class, you need to ask for a spark every time you need one or just tell me every time it's finished cooling down to send one otherwise I won't. That is true for most other venos. We're not just going to give our precious sparks to you on a whim because we think you need them. We like using our sparks too you know. Demon Spark Eruption....

Baalbak here.

speak for youself please, and not for all venomancers. When I ran crap loads of TT runs on my veno - I shot the BB cleric spark if needed before the boss fights (of course (s)he should have 2 sparks already if doing nothing but spamming IHB the whole time). and then constantly throughout the fight i would shoot the tank a spark whenever my lending hand cooled down. All without being asked to. Why would I waste a spark or two on my own skills that do relatively little damage in comparison to other DD classes - when I can help to ensure the tank has enough to spam flesh ream or invoke the spirit if need be? My role in dungeons isn't to deal max damage. My role is to pull, shoot spark, amp damage, debuff, and save clerics if hell breaks loose.

Don't be such a nub. I did not say all venos, I said most venos. Venos are the highest DPS dealer in an instance, especially in TT. This is largely due to our pet. I only send BB spark after the BB has been established, never before unless asked to. I spark all the time in instances where I am able to, which also helps with healing my pet if they are tanking. Otherwise my sparks are for me and my skills, most notably, Bramble Hood.

Barbs and BMs should carry chi pots (as should everyone else). Lending Hand only works once every 60 seconds, 15 once you get Demon/Sage, but that's L99 skill. The other classes shouldn't always mooch off of venos for sparks.
