I don't know why but everytime I scan my computer, it says I have (among other things) a Trojan Drop from my PWI file. And after some digging I found the file it was coming from, packdll.dll. I need help removing the malware, I've thrown Ad-Aware, Spyware Doctor, and AVG at it(they're all up to date). Nothing seems to get rid of it! Or it will get rid of it...but then it reappears after I play the game! What can I do?

If you downloaded from one of the partner sites or the main site, its a false positive.

Some antiviruses give the game a false positive due to the security measures we have implemented on the login screen. As chesticles said this is a false positive, and as long as you have downloaded the game from our site or one of the official mirrors the files are completely safe

Yeah, I've been seeing the same issue with a couple friends. My girlfriend's malware kicked in and picked up something in perfect world. Apparently the game has been eating away at her laptop for some time. It messed up her laptop to the point where she has missing documents, can't remove the game, or system restart. Now I'm pretty worried for my own computer, and if my own issues are related to the same thing.
I'm almost 100% positive that we poth downloaded from http://pwi.perfectworld.com/ was the link. Yet, we're still getting these virus issues. Does anyone care to explain?

PWI is clean with AVG.
I was early taught to work as well as play,My life has been one long, happy holiday;
Full of work and full of play-
I dropped the worry on the way-
And God was good to me everyday.

Here at the PWE office, we scan EVERYTHING multiple times with Kaspersky before and after we push builds and patches live.
If people are careful and only download from us, and links we provide, players game clients should be fine.

well as with any virus scanner, some virus scanners miss certain infected files... like trying Nortan then to AVG then to another, your going to come up with different results...
and btw GM's.. only 1 virus scan? my computer feels safe now o.o

Well only 1 program to scan is not much. but they'r using Kaspersky darth say, so i feel safe enough. very little stuff have went through Kaspersky for me last 3-4 years. if it does then never any problems remove. Would be worryed with any other program as i tryed mcfee, norton etc on other comps in past, useless to me :D lol, couldnt watch fun stuff without getting crap on comp
I'm sorry for misspelling / mistyping and grammar
