=.= ugh asking alot here it seems.
I've looked everywhere and NO where has a list that includes the expansion areas. All the lists seem to predate PWI, which means their near 4 years old. Even the " current " wiki is outdated and not complete with the list.
....^^^^
Well wrong with that statement. But the number of tamable is so so few it's barely worth the time for the trip. But the tide area does have at least one amphibious pet but it's WEAK, in DD and tanking.

The Evil Stinkfish added the dark wanderer and glacial walker. Those ARE talked about, I'm pretty sure.
Nothing else it added was particularly notable.
The molemen brought no pets from them when they emerged from their fetid holes into the pristine loveliness of the new areas - not even the owl or that polar cub.

Yeah, the Earthguard area has a big fat zero tamable creatures, not a one. The Tideburn has a few and the Glacial Walker is the best ground physical tank of all the pets with a decent melee damage to keep agro.
=.= I went and looked in the areas my self and it's for the most part a waste of time if nothing is tamable.
All the PW areas that predate the expansions and PWI have like 85% of the creatures tamable. But the expansion areas only have like 10% tamable in Tideburn and maybe a 1% in Earthguard. It's like the new programmers forgot how to set creatures to tamable. ><

As for the Rising Tide pets, the Glacial Walker pet is the best free land tank in the game. The Shadow Ranger/Dark Wanderer (the name changes when you tame it) has the best DPS for any free pet as well. Compare them at Ecatomb's Pet Simulator page. Also, there are no amphibious (land and water) pets, other than the mystic summons.
Visit the PWI wiki for the useful information. Stay at the PWI wiki for the pie. ;-)
