This thread is intended to try to provide a one-all point for most of the questions regarding quests/special FBs, etc. Also, it's easier to maintain than having all of the quest guides stickied so ^^;;

Hello everyone, this is Ence.

I realize that there has been little to no progress in this thread for a long time. The main reason being that I no longer play the game on a regular basis. Starting from the beginning of June, there were many events in my life which have rendered me unable to play Perfect World. Many of these events were not unfortunate incidents as some may or may not have speculated. Rather, I have for the past 3-4 months been in a major transitional period in my life which, I feel, in the long run is for the best. The obvious negative effect (for all of you) is that I can no longer commit time to Perfect World. What I can do now though is go through the guides once again and fix any of the erroneous material that may have been put up. I thank all the users who have inputted the discrepancies between the game and the guide both on the threads as well as in pm. I will work now on getting those changes made and perhaps adding a bit more on the front page such as a quest FAQ. The other unfortunate event is that for those who may have been patiently waiting for a level 80+ quest: You are out of luck. For that matter, I also do not have information on the newly upgraded Frostcovered Lands quests as well as the Rising Tide release in the future, nor will there be a 1-30 guide on the new races anytime in the near future. This is not set in stone as I do anticipate substantial amounts of off-time in January and February but frankly, what might happen then will depend entirely upon my mood at the time. I do believe however, I will put up a 1-30 guide on the two Tideborn races once I return. Just don’t count on it coming out as soon as the new expansion is released. If you see me poking around the forums, don’t be alarmed, I’m just reading stuff, but if you do encounter Ence in-game please know that it is not me, but probably one of my good friends messing around on the character.

Because, for one I gave an explanation a long long time ago about this. You can use the website, I don't have a problem with that. The point of my work was to create a comprehensive quest guide in which I tried to add all the extra points that never make it onto the usual quest lists. If not 1perfect, why not the PW Wiki? Or http://www.pwdatabase.com/ ? Or why not even the MY forums? The coordinates are the same over there and the quest names are close enough to be able to figure them out.

The point in my creating these "guides" is to add a bit more to it. There are questions that people have on the forums despite having all those sites. My goal is to try to add the extra bits to answer the people's questions. Odd things like whether a drop is uncommon or not. Specifics on a boss. Tips on fighting through things. Which quests to chain together for an FB and what to pick up for all of it. Things like that.

The original concept was spawned through the MY forums. 1perfect has been around for a long time and I do believe it is a great site for looking at quests. I will also say that they were using my quest guides for the lower levels earlier on to add information to their guide as well as back on the MY version. And yes, I was asked if it was allowed to use the information to add to their site.

So...I'd say it's all up to you. Some people use this, others use other sources. All in all I'm just trying to add something back to the community in general ;)

Yeah, I suppose it is so if you wish. But...*points at the threads and types of threads in the quest section* Reality says different =.=

Well, there seem to be 3 main types:

- Asking for help killing a certian mob, which I think belongs in the server-specific sections.

- Asking what mobs drop a certain item, or where to get a certain item, which can be easily found with pwdatabase;

- And needing help/reassurance from GMs, because they think the quest is bugged or not working, a lot of those seem to be about celestial sprite, I've never had a bugged quest, so I think people maybe need to read the description a bit better.

You may as well copy over the info from 1pw, and write out a post with every quest on there so far, and add your notes to them, then we wouldn't need these 10+ topics splitting up the quest parts. Surely it's easier to just go to 1 place for all the information, than going to different threads scattered over different pages on the forum?
