Level 1-3 Blacksmith is easy; just make 10 weapons of each weapon (depending what level your skill is), and get the next level skill with any Elder. You can only upgrade skills like this from the beginning to when you get full mastery on level 3 skill. Also, the gap between level 4 to level 6 blacksmith, or level 6 to level 8 skill; can be done by doing it the previous way where you just talk to any Elder to upgrade your skill.

The next segment will explain what to do in a quest, what mats and tips on getting your full smith mastery in the game. As a blacksmith, you get to make cool Legendary weapons (Gold glow) or even the powerful Twilight weapons (Green glow).

Note: All weapons for quests are 2 star weapons (**). It’s best recommended if you make the weapons at early level. If you’re making the weapons for level 4 smith, make the weapons @ 40-45. You’ll have more chance on making them at 2 stars each. Otherwise, it’ll be more difficult to have them 2 stars and you’ll end up making them only regular ones (same as the ones bought from the actual NCPs).

If that’s the case when you can no longer make good weapons at 2 stars, have people to help you make them, buy them from other people or buy them from the Auctioneer as well.

I have this quest and I'm having trouble. I made the Sawtooth Blades but it not showing up as Counted 1 done in that quest list. I notice the quest mention about two star. Do I have to go to different blacksmith for two star????

nope. everytime you make a weapon, you have a chance to get 1,2,or 3 stars, 3 being the rarest. getting 2 stars isnt the easiest thing ever. but you dont have to walk to anyone special

but lv8 blacksmith is obtained at lv 99 ^^ ;) ( as the other lv 8 craft skills quests)

the Elder of lothranis / monagamon gives you the quest... and the blacksmith of monagamon is the one you need to see .
