Buy a Pickaxe for 2000 from any Merchant NPC, then go look for Iron Ore nodes. They will give you 1-2 Iron pigs when harvested.

thanks i find them by typing ther cordinates up here and the pig iron is a regular iron but it doesnt say that but i found to of them in one search thanks dow for yourhelp

When you go to these coordinates (and at other places) you will find iron mines - when you mine these you get pig iron. 'Pig iron' is the name for an ingot of very crude iron - it is the correct English term for it - so the game is, in that small respect, true to life.

anyway, pig iron comes from the "iron ore". There are in many different locations, but mostly around the 4 starting cities and around the archosaur area.

If you don't see them at the coordinates, it means someone else probably mined it. All resource nodes take about 10 minutes to respawn. If you're patient, you can wait until it respawns, or you can walk to another node to see if it's open elsewhere.
