First off, let me just say that I don't have anything against the opening poster (OP) or the scheme itself. However, for anyone thinking of participating, you should think carefully about the following before doing so:

You're required to fill out surveys (to earn points in order to exchange for gamecards), according to aboutus.org.

The "r=555027" on the end of the url provided is most probably a referrer ID (as stated by previous poster). If it is, referrals may be required or be an additional way to earn points. I.e., the OP may have other motives other than just trying to be helpful.

You'll be required to provide personal data. Your data may be passed to affiliates (the companies that sponsor the surveys) and/or sold to other marketing companies, resulting in an influx of junk (e)mail and/or telemarketing calls. This can be somewhat confirmed by doing a google search for 'prizerebel scam'; check the link to the rockband.com forum in the results (top of list when I did the search).

A 'WHOIS' lookup on the prizerebel domain has the registrant and administrative contact hidden by WhoisGuard. I've not checked prizerebel's website (and don't wish to - I'd rather they didn't have my IP) but you should determine if there's a (non-convoluted) way to contact them and remove your personal details from their database, in future.

heres a mean advice: if you want your entire life to be go to work, come back and play MMOs in a basement then by all means give a shot making money and getting free stuff in MLMs (multi lvl marketing). If not, get "there is no free lunch" drilled into your lil brains and start studying hard.
