I'm not really a beginner, obviously, but I do have a question. I just realized that I'm pretty much screwed with any of my underwater quests because I've not leveled my pet and its stuck at 82. I've not found any real help here from my searches, so I'm assuming there's no easy way like with the others, but if anyone does happen to have any suggestions, I'd like to know if there's any good place to level a water pet? Only same-level mobs, or are there any '?' underwater mobs that I can wipe out to level it?

I started doing that. Lol. I'm lazy too, so that was too much work. :P

There's some 8x water mobs south of Dreamweaver.

Lucky you, my Tortoise Everlasting is at Lvl 60 :-) Lucky me, I never even tried to level one of those lvl 5 (or whatever the lowest turtles are) turtles... I used the Sawfly for the early water quests.
I even let a water-solo-"boss" quest go 'cause I wasn't sure she could handle it; don't know whether it's already expired or not.

Maybe I should dump the turtle and get one of those fishes instead... or even better, where to go to tame a lvl 82 Tideborn? Those seem to be all over the world map, there must be a lvl 82 variant somewhere.

There's really no way to level a water pet without using a bot, and those are hard to come by. To my knowledge, they didn't even put Snowmen into the water. So they have tried to make an integrated ground/air/water MMO"RP"G, reasonably successful even, but they completely neglect the water part :-( Pets are not the only thing; despite the swimming mastery skill it feels like it takes forever to move around in the water.

Before I played PW, games where I could fly had the flying pretty much separated into a "movement only". One game had a handful of airmonsters and some aircombat stuff that really only worked with one class; it seemed a lot like an abandoned experiment to add air combat that was left in the game for some reason. The game that I play ATM is much more modern than PW, but there's no flying at all, and water is just the usual swimming-through-the-water thing that most MMO"RP"Gs seem to have.

I don't like the air part in PW either (I keep the fly levelled, although I tend to use ground monsters for it), but I still like the idea and that they actually did it. So it's "kind of sad" they never really worked out the water part.
